Shooting Stick

I thoroughly enjoyed refurbing this vintage (Edwardian) shooting stick that had traversed the Continent of Africa…….a wonderful piece of living history.

Binoculars Strap

Replicating a vintage leather binoculars strap. Broadened the mid-section to 2.5cm for comfort, tapering to 1cm x 0.13cm at the loop end.

Supersize Me….

Opposite is an ‘outsize’ (30cm high) hip flask cover, commissioned by a Sutherland ghillie I worked with many years ago.

Camera Lens Safekeeping

Here we have a bespoke camera lens tube that I made to order around the time of the 2022 Jubilee, measuring 17.5cm tall and 11.5cm diameter. The leather is 3mm Italian full grain and both ends are lined with lamb fleece.

Send in the cavalry….

A friend asked me to replace the webbing strap on his fishing bags to incorporate his family’s Regimental stable belts and it certainly has added a dash of colour…..

A wading stick that shoudln’t float…..

In this age of health and Safety, what can we do to resolve the issue of a wading stick that floats? Add a sheath of lead and cover the ugliness/shininess with a generous helping of soft Italian tumbled leather.

Commissioned by the Queen of Delfur.

For the man who has everything and wants to reward himself yet again in advance of the next meet at Wincanton….
